• Comments : The author just started it, but this story already looks like something special. There"s no over-the-top shipping, a dark tone, and a unique portrayal of a realistically emotionally damaged Kirito. Plus, the image of Kazuto, Klein, and Agil playing drinking games is just too damn awesome. On the downside, author has seemingly inconsistent writing, and although the recent stuff is better, this chapter is abnormally above average for him. He might not keep up this level of writing.

There is also an interesting subplot culminating around how Kizmel"s growing awareness is leading her to understand just what Aincrad and who the players are, including her own role as an NPC.

Вот что значит скука - когда кроме как восстановлением физической формы заняться больше нечем. Это, конечно, тоже полезно, особенно для того, кого только вчера выписали из больницы, но все-таки заниматься в одиночестве мне было как-то не так. А Шун обещал прийти только вечером. Бросил меня тут помирать со скуки, засранец.

Я повернула голову, уперевшись взглядом в календарь на столе. Прошло почти три месяца с даты окончания SAO. А я только вчера оказалась дома, как самый последний неудачник. А все потому, что "у меня слабое здоровье и мне нельзя напрягаться", видите ли. Да, я почти не могла ходить целый месяц, но потом меня держали там только по результатам анализов, которые почему-то не нравились врачам. Дурдом. Зато моя палата стала местом встречи нашей компании - Шун и внезапно оказавшийся в соседней палате Сильвер практически не вылазили из моей комнаты даже когда сами выписались. Хорошо хоть чего пожевать приносили.

Кстати о Сильвере. У него на самом деле оказались прилично отросшие за два года волосы, правда русые, а не серебряные, и стричь он их категорически отказался. Так что я развлекалась тем, что плела ему кривые косички, а приезжавшая за ним потом Элис ужасалась и доплетала еще парочку. Элис, к сожаленью, жила на другом конце города, но зато хоть с Сильвом почти сразу связалась. Они обещались сыграть реальную свадьбу, когда все утрясется.

За два года многое изменилось. Главным событием для меня стал арест отчима Шуна за мошенничество, и лишение того родительских прав. Родители, прикинув что, да как, в конце концов забрали Шуна к нам. Радости моей не было предела. Квартира у нас с родителями была большая, а жила я в ней практически одна, исключая кота. Так что пока меня не было дома, Шун спал в моей комнате. Теперь будет спать в родительской. А в те редкие дни, что будут возвращаться мама с отцом - будет переползать в зал на диван. Родители, кстати, были дома всего две недели после выхода из SAO. Потом опять умотали. Вечные командировочные, мать их. Хоть рядом побыли, уже хорошо.

Звонок в дверь буквально вырвал меня из дремы, куда я успела провалиться. Скорее всего, это вернулся Шун. Ключи он забыл дома. Я подобрала гантель, и поплелась к двери, на ходу прикидывая, сразу ли кидаться, или спросить, пощадить ли его.

Ты рано... - протянула я, открывая дверь, уже заранее зная, что это именно Шун. Видео-домофон, поставленный родителями оказался отличной идеей.

Ну и рожа, - честно выдал Шун, улыбаясь во все тридцать два. - Можно чуток повеселее?

А у тебя есть с собой что-нибудь, что сделает меня повеселее? - я повисла на дверном косяке, вертя в руке трехкилограммовую гантель. Это не угроза, нет, просто она мне нравилась, вот и все.

Есть, - кивнул Шун, и как по волшебству рядом выросли Сильвер и Элис, такие же светлые, как всегда, буквально лучащиеся счастьем. - Даже двое.

Гантель выпала у меня из руки в сантиметре от многострадального мизинца. Они пришли. Ко мне. В гости. Нет, я ожидала от них всякого, просто ко мне очень редко приходили в гости. Я была, мягко говоря, ошарашена. И рада до нельзя.

Ух ты ж, ты сейчас как-никак похожа на призрака, - рассмеялся Сильвер, пристально меня разглядывая.

Ты никогда не умел делать комплименты, - вздохнула я. Элис дернула уже бывшего РыКа за ухо.

Привет, дорогие читатели и подписчики! Поскольку в последнее время заслуживающих внимания новинок ЛитРпг на Самиздате не так много, как хотелось бы, второй выпуск рубрики «Дайджест игровой фантастики» будет посвящен зарубежным произведениям на тему игр и виртуальной реальности. Такая литература на Западе и Востоке пользуется большим успехом, хотя и мало известна отечественному читателю да и к жанру ЛитРпг ее можно причислить лишь условно. Как я уже писал в одной из своих статей, то, что мы понимаем под этим термином — всего лишь литературный прием, который активно использовали и используют разные авторы, как наши, так и зарубежные. В некое подобие жанра данный прием превратился исключительно стараниями самиздатовцев . Но это, конечно, не значит, что все книги на тему игр в виртуальной реальности надо безоговорочно относить к ЛитРпг. Таким образом, в сегодняшнем дайджесте речь пойдет о книгах, которые с одной стороны не являются ЛитРпг по сути, а с другой, являются. Такие вот взаимоисключающие параграфы.
Ну что ж, с лирическим отступлением покончено, пора перейти к делу. А начнем мы с весьма известного и популярного в Англии и США произведения.

Эпик – Конор Костик

Действие происходит в далеком будущем. Все люди живущие на планете является гражданами так называемой Новой Земли. Каждый гражданин вынужден всю жизнь играть в виртуальную игру Эпик, потому что, только так можно заработать себе на пропитание, подняться по карьерной лестнице и вообще, добиться чего-нибудь в этом мире. В общем, все люди загружены в Матрицу, которая выполнена в стиле фэнтези и весьма напоминает мир игры World Of Warcraft . Главного героя зовут Эрик. Его отец был отправлен в ссылку за игровое правонарушение, и теперь парнишка хочет восстановить справедливость. С этой целью он удаляет своего старого перса и создает новый аватар, меняя пол на женский и тратя все начальные пойнты на прокачку характеристики «красота». Начав игру заново, Эрик в образе красотки неожиданно идет к успеху, и со временем решает устроить революцию в игровом мире, свергнув хозяев Эпика, которые по совместительству являются правительством Новой Земли.

Первому игроку приготовиться – Эрнест Клайн

ОАЗИС – глобальная ММО, которая стала новой реальностью и заменила собой Интернет и телевидение. Человечество бежит от серых неприглядных будней в виртуальный мир ОАЗИСА. Главный герой по имени Уэйд Уоттс становится пасхантером – охотником за пасхалками, своеобразными головоломками, разбросанными по миру игры эксцентричным миллиардером и создателем ОАЗИСа Джеймсом Холлидэем. Разгадка головоломки – ключ к несметным богатствам и Уэйду предстоит побороться за них в виртуальном и реальном мирах.
Книга довольно необычна и очень хорошо написана. Радует, что роман уже переведен на русский язык и у всех желающих есть возможность его прочитать.

Фанаты оригинальных произведений нередко размышляют, что же случилось с героями дальше – после последней главы или окончания титров. Ведь расставаться с любимыми персонажами всего немного грустно. Не успели досмотреть аниме онлайн, а уже хочется продолжения. К сожалению, повлиять на продюсеров не получится, но всегда можно почитать фанфик.
